Boredom is a big problem these days. While you’re doing your part by staying in quarantine, it gets particularly challenging if you’re an outdoors person- we get it, and we know it’s tough.
And while we’ve been sharing lots of content on how to stay safe and get ready, we haven’t really touched on making the most of your time during this lockdown.
In this article, we’re going to change all that and we’ll give you some personal projects for you to keep yourself busy; we know its a really scary thing to happen, but it’s not good to overthink it- these activities should keep you preoccupied and active.

Fly your drone!
These days, we should all limit our time outdoors and distance ourselves socially, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t fly your drone!
If you’ve got one, bring it out and fly it!
If you have some kids at home and they’re sick of video games, or they’re bored out of their skull like the rest of us, a drone should be tons of fun to fly! Make sure that you’re taking care of flying it so that it doesn’t hit anything.
Don’t fly it out too high or too far to stay safe while having fun.
Quick idea: Make a small obstacle course for the drone and practice getting it through the obstacle course! Here’s a good example that you can try - just make sure that you’re using softer materials and at a lower altitude when you’re starting out.
Once you’ve gotten used to the track you made, switch it up and make a new course!

Keep your car in perfect condition
If you’ve been too busy to tune your car up or maintain it, this lockdown is the perfect time to check up on it and get it in perfect condition.
First- your tyres. If you haven’t checked tyres for quite some time, it’s about time to check its pressure. Your tyres have a perfect psi level that you need to follow, which you should be able to see on your car’s manual.
If you don’t have a tyre pressure monitor, now would be a great time to get one for yourself.
Your tyres are equally important as the other parts of your vehicle. If they’re deflated or not at the right pressure, you run the risk of it getting more damaged and breaking down on you in the middle of a ride.
Similarly, your car’s engine and various systems deserve the same attention. Luckily, if you’re not familiar with car maintenance, you can simply plug in an OBD2 diagnostic tool, and contact your mechanic about the codes you receive or check your OBD2 manual for more information.
If you’re familiar with maintaining your vehicle, these two items should help you while away the time doing something worthwhile. Should any emergency come up, you’ll know that your car is in tiptop shape.

Cooking
With so many guides out there on the internet these days, you can spend a lot of time learning a certain recipe and keeping yourself well-nourished, but make sure to keep an eye out for nutritious food that keeps your immune system healthy.
You’d be surprised at how much time you can spend just by cooking- and it’s definitely time that is spent well!
