We hope this week has been kind to you. We’ve been hearing good news recently with lower cases of COVID-19 day by day here in VIC and all over the country. Like what we keep saying if this trend continues and we should be seeing better days soon enough with open roads and some form of normalcy that’s a little bit like the time before the pandemic.
Hopefully, soon we can have this all contained and figured out. But to do that, we must all maintain vigilance, stick to the rules of the new normal, and do our part to keep ourselves and our community safe.
And to do that, we’ll need to reinforce some facts for COVID-19, and we’ll also be providing some measures on how you can keep safe. Admittedly these facts are nothing new but they deserve to be told again to make sure that we’re all safe.
Without further ado, let’s get started.
The Rules Of The Pandemic
The rules are simple enough - stay indoors as much as you can, only going out for supplies and work. If you can work from home then you must work at home. Avoid touching your face with your hands as the virus can be transmitted from your hands to your respiratory system. Make sure to wash them often - we’re all aware of these rules and we’d do well to stick to them.
One that’s still in a debate in some parts of the world, particularly in the US, is the wearing of masks. We here at Elinz have said it time and time again; if you really need to go out, then you’ll need to wear a mask.
And not just any kind of mask - the ones that are sure to protect you are either surgical or N95 masks as they’re medically proven to work against particulates in the air. Should anyone with COVID-19 sneeze, cough, or talk near you, you’ll be protected from it.
Make sure that if you need to go out, that it’s absolutely necessary. And of course, wear a mask!

New Developments
There has been word of COVID-19 persisting in enclosed areas, especially in air-conditioned areas where the air isn’t recirculating immediately. This lends credence to the fact that the virus is transmitting in a limited airborne capacity, which is causing further infections.
Enclosed spaces such as offices and gyms are primary infection grounds for COVID-19, which is why they’ve been closed for the most part, and some operating in a limited manner, such as having limits for people indoors.
This rule needs to be enforced and should be something of a priority if you’re a building manager, a supervisor, or part of any administrative function inside an organization.
There are two ways to make sure that this is enforced:

Safety at Home
COVID-19 isn’t the only danger these days. Besides the everyday need to make sure our homes are secure against burglary/theft, taking care of our bodies is also an important everyday thing for us to do.
